HOT ROD Power Tour Presented by HP Tuners and Driven by Continental Tire
Small private junkyards are usually secrets passed between the knowing and the lucky. The actual locations are legendary and the contents have grown in the telling. You aren’t going to find them on a map, you need to know someone who knows someone. Luckily, we know the whereabouts of a small muscle car and vintage truck junkyard in Euclid, Ohio.
Our lucky streak started while we were prepping for the 2021 HOT ROD Power Tour. Boris Maryanovsky called and told us of a party he was having at the legendary Street Machinery in Euclid, Ohio, on the night before the event kickoff. If you don’t know Boris, you might know his cars. Building under the name Patina Plantation, Boris and his crew turned out some excellent builds during the patina fad’s peak.
Boris works out of a growing compound of buildings that includes a body shop, a toy box, and a small yard full of collectible junkers. If you look closely, there are short box C10s and bubble-top Impalas mixed in with the vintage engines and chassis. Boris set us free in the muscle car junkyard to take a look. And, yes, it is all for sale.
