The most expensive Citroen Berlingos now come with a 10-inch digital gauge cluster as standard
Citroen has updated the Berlingo range for 2021, by adding a little more technology and simplifying the MPV’s line-up. The revised people carrier will go on sale in October this year, with prices starting from £22,135 for the entry-level Feel variant.
Citroen’s biggest update to the Berlingo line-up is the addition of a new 10-inch digital gauge cluster on the most expensive Rip Curl and Flair XTR models. It replaces the old analogue dials and gives drivers a choice of three display modes.

The Berlingo’s old rotary automatic gearbox selector has also been axed in favour of the same e-Toggle switch-style unit found in the pure-electric e-Berlingo. Citroen says the new selector is simpler to use than the MPV’s original setup.
Citroen has also restructured the Berlingo’s line-up, ditching the mid-range Flair variant from the range. The special edition Rip Curl model introduced in 2020 has stepped up to fill the void, meaning buyers now have a choice of just three specifications – Feel, Rip Curl and Flair XTR.
Feel models come as standard with 16-inch steel wheels, LED daytime running lights, manual air conditioning and an eight-inch infotainment system. Buyers can also have the MPV in either standard or long-wheelbase configurations, with the latter bumping the Berlingo’s seating capacity up to seven.
Standard equipment for the Berlingo Rip Curl includes 16-inch black alloy wheels, black door mirrors and Rip Curl decals for the front doors and rear quarter lights. Inside, there’s some unique grey upholstery with a yellow stripe and white stitching, along with Rip Curl labels on the rear seats. Prices start from £26,695.
Inside, there’s the aforementioned digital gauge cluster, linked to a 180-degree reversing camera, and automatic dual zone climate control. Driver assistance technology includes active lane-keeping assist, active safety braking and traffic sign recognition.
At the top of the range, there’s the Flair XTR. Priced from £27,300, it comes as standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, orange fog lamp surrounds, XTR badges and lime green upholstery.
The Berlingo’s engine range is near-enough identical to the outgoing model, kicking off with a 108bhp 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol unit, mated to a six speed manual gearbox. Above that, there’s a 128bhp version of the same engine, which is mated to an eight-speed automatic and priced from £24,445 on the cheapest Feel variant.
Buyers can also have a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel unit with either 99bhp or 128bhp. The former is priced from £22,520, while the latter starts from £26,290 on the Flair XTR model. Both come as standard with a six-speed manual gearbox.
